Originally from Virginia Beach, Dale relocated to the Charlottesville area in early 2012 due to a severe traffic allergy. After working for over a decade as a field technician with NCR Corp, troubleshooting electromechanical devices and computer hardware, he decided to venture into the networking and software aspect of the technology industry. Combined with his love for the eclectic nature of Charlottesville, this pursuit has led him to become a promising addition to the NWG team.
What’s the best part of your job?
I love the collective mentality. It’s truly rewarding knowing you’re part of a team that can work together to find innovative solutions for any need or issue our customers may come across.
When you’re not at work, what’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, whether we’re playing in the river or getting creative with some arts and crafts. I also love to work with my hands. I’m always building DIY projects or gardening.
Name one thing about you that most people don’t know or wouldn’t expect.
I have an uncanny ability for finding four leaf clovers, so much so that I stopped picking them and now just snap a picture, so there’s a little luck left in the world.
