After earning a degree in Information Technology from PVCC, Timothy worked in the NOC for an ISP in Richmond, as well as provided IT support from Ohio to North Carolina for a business headquartered in Charlottesville. He joined NWG in September 2024 and is responsible for ensuring the NOC runs smoothly and efficiently. With a focus on future developments, Timothy is particularly interested in systems administration, cloud computing, and security best practices.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is the constant opportunity to learn and solve complex problems. Each day brings new challenges and lessons, and I enjoy collaborating with a talented team.
When you’re not at work, what’s your favorite thing to do for fun?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy riding my road bike and chasing PRs on Strava.
Name one thing about you that most people don’t know or wouldn’t expect:
I worked on a farm during middle school and high school, where we cared for sheep, cows, a few horses, and dogs. It was a valuable experience managing the endless responsibilities to keep the animals happy and well-fed.
